Dwight Smith was a former outfielder with the Chicago Cubs and Atlanta Braves who won a World Series title with the Braves in 1995. He had a wonderful career in baseball. I remember the day at Disney World, when you walked up to me and my family with your family and as only you do, started singing!! I turned and said, “NO WAY”, I know this isn’t Dwight Smith!! I was so shocked to hear about Dwight’s passing!! My heart is broken for all of you!!
I will never forget him letting me “try on” his World Series ring in Dr. Tomeh’s office! I remember his great big warm smile and his beautiful, smooth voice.
