You will always be loved and supported by the Fullers and Mia

One thing that strikes me while looking through the countless photos of Dad is the expression on his face whenever he's holding a child. Joy and love, plain and simple. This photo shows him holding Olivia James Phelan, his only great-granddaughter, the child of Amy Grace and Paul Phelan. I'm so glad they had the chance to meet.

To the family of Dwight Smith - On behalf of the care team, it was an honor to have been entrusted with his care, albeit briefly. Please know that your family is in our prayers for continued peace and comfort.

Tim was the first cousin of my mother Elizabeth (Betty) Smith Sanders, so to all of us he was "Cousin Tim." His wisdom and joie de vivre were gifts to our family. We send our sympathy to Rachel and all his family as they miss him and celebrate his remarkable life. Cousin Tim continues to inspire me with what a faith-infused life can be. ~Susan Sanders Phillips

Dwight, Mindy and children, we are so sorry for your loss. Dwight, your father sounded like a most wonderful person anyone could have as a father and a role model for many younger generations. We are thinking good thoughts. Love and sincere condolences. Yuko and Jay

To Dwight, Mindy, Dewey and Cornelia, I am thinking of you all. Reading the obit made me feel like I was reading about someone whose words, passions and principles I see, experience and cherish in all four of you. With love, Sophie
