Not sure what to say?

As a staff member of the company that supported the activities of Professors Stevenson and Mathes in Japan, along with Waseda University, I was honored to work with him many times in the 1990s. He impressed us all with his ability to share his knowledge of technical communication with Japanese engineers and business people, and we also had the privilege of speaking with him personally and sharing his gentle kindness and deep culture. He was deeply respected here in Japan.

Goodbye, dear friend.

Lovely tribute to a special person. As a grad student in the late 70s, I learned a lot from Dwight, JC, and Tom. Dwight had a warm and generous spirit.

I worked for the Stevenson, but I will have to say from the first day that I walked in that door they made me feel like I was working with them and not for them. I will always remember Dwight. He was such a kind man one of the nicest men that I´ve ever met in my life And he took such good care of Mary and he raised two wonderful daughters. I love y´all and I will never forget you.

We are so sorry to hear about Dwight's passing. He and Mary Ann were, and always will be, so special. May you find peace in fond memories. Love, Cathy and Jake Bell

I am so sorry to hear about Dwight. He and Mary Ann were loved so much by my parents and shared many good times together. My prayers are with you all in the days ahead.
