I am happy to have known Dwight Wade for many years, and, I remember fondly his mother Victoria Wade who was at one time a business partner to my grandfather, John Whaley and E. E. Conner, grandfather of G. H. Conner at the location known as the Corner Store (now The Cobblers), downtown Sevierville.
