Not sure what to say?

It was a beautiful gathering, there at Touchmark as everyone honored Dwight's amazing life. Just the presence of family, friends that went back through the years . . . Dwight was one of the most creative people I've ever known. Multi-gifted, he shared his talents generously, and touched and inspired us all. Thanks to Barbara and all the other family for the opportunity to celebrate Dwight's great life.

What a guy. Always came to my work at Fred Meyer and madey day so much better. Great sense of humor. You will be missed.

We will all miss Dwight and we extend our condolences to the family. I always appreciated his critiques of my artwork and enjoyed his company at IWS events. What a wonderful human being!

It was an honor to know Dwight and call him my friend and fellow artist. He was as colorful in life as his watercolor Art was on paper. A storyteller extraordinaire, so proud of his family, an excellent and passionate Artist, a dedicated teacher, and the truest of friends. A life well lived. The world is a little less bright without his presence.

Dwight and Barbara were our neighbors for over 30 years. We felt so lucky to be acquainted with them and have them for neighbors Dwight will be missed

All who were lucky enough to have been in a class, critique or show with Dwight will not forget this kind and generous man. I will miss his smiling face, encouraging words and lively tales that kept us all entertained. He was the founding pastor of our Hillview Methodist church and was gracious when asked about the background for some of his paintings on display there. So glad to have known this fine artist and even finer gentleman.

Dwight and Barbara were among our earliest friends when we moved to Boise in 1967. We celebrated his birthday (and my former husband Glenn's) at "Capricorn Capers" for many years in our home. Dwight was so much fun to be around, whether playing bridge or taking trips, or debating current issues. He was truly larger than life, and I am so grateful to call both Barbara and Dwight my friends. The obituary was beautifully written.

So sorry to hear of Uncle Dee's passing. I always enjoyed visiting with him when you were back to Grandma Clarice's. Love to all, to bad we always lived so far apart. Love to Aunt Bobbie. Shelley

Dwight and I first met in 1969 when we both worked at Boise Cascade. The friendship lasted throughout the rest of his life, and we stayed in touch frequently. A great human being - sharp and a great sense of humor.
