Chadwick Funeral and Cremation Service, LLC - New London Obituary

Dylan Thomas Lynch of Newbury, N.H. and Portsmouth, R.I. passed away unexpectedly in his sleep 2/17/23.  He was born 37 years ago in Rochester NH to his proud parents Mark and Jody Lynch of Newbury, NH.  He attended the Kearsarge Regional School  and graduated from KRHS in 2003.   He went on to earn a Bachelors Degree from the University of Rhode Island and traveled the world working as an Ocean Engineer for Edge Tech and subsequently Falmouth Scientific.

He loved being on the water with his family and friends and was an ardent fisherman,  talented chef and a lover of music. He was keenly intelligent with a sharp wit and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.  Particularly his  young daughter,  Alexa Lucia Lynch of Tiverton, RI, his sister Kirby and brother in law Sean Bonnell of Enfield, NH,  Aunts and Uncles Scott and Aysa Crane of Hampton, NH, Michael and Cheryl Eldridge of Effingham, NH, as well as Chris and Trish Baldwin of Brunswick, ME, Grandmother Nancy  Lynch of Hampton, NH and multiple cousins across New England and the United States.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at The First Baptist Church, 461 Main Street, New London, NH starting at 11:00 A.M.   All are invited to come and share their memories of Dylan and the family asks that you commit your memories in writing to an index card to be posted on cork board and ultimately a book for Alexa to learn more about her dad’s life and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider donating to a Go Fund Me account established for Alexa’s college fund  https://gofund.me/7d8920b5.

Not sure what to say?

Dear Mark, Jody, and Kirby, I remember so many times that Nancy and I shared wonderful stories with each about our well-loved grandchildren, chatting, laughing, and treasuring the events in their lives. It feels like I knew Dylan even though it was through these conversations with Nancy and not in person meetings. I am so very sorry for your loss. I hope you can find comfort in knowing how much Dylan touched others lives. Our sincere sympathy to all of you.

I always enjoyed working with Dylan. He was funny and easy going. Made the task at hand that much easier. I hope he's remembered for his humor and laugh. Prayers to his family and especially his daughter.

Dear Mark, Jody and Kirby, Please accept my sincere condolences in the loss of your dear Son/Brother. I am so very sorry for your loss. Single Tree

I worked closely with Dylan for only a short time at FSI, but on more than one occasion I just had to tell him how great it was to work with him. I was really impressed with his extra patience, helpfulness and kindness, which made him stand out. Although the time I got to spend with him was short, his effect on me will last.

So very sorry for your family's loss. May your happiest memories give you some comfort during this difficult time.

Dear Jody and Mark - My thoughts & prayers are with you and your family. May you always have fond memories of your time together with him.
