Dylan Harrison Stratton, 21, passed away January 23, 2019. Dylan is the son of Leslie Daniele Searcy Glass of Mt. Eden and George Stanley Stratton (Sarah Hawkins) of Frankfort. He was preceded in death by his loving step-father, Barry T. Glass.
Along with his parents, Dylan is survived by his maternal grandparents, Stanley and Linda Searcy of Lawrenceburg; paternal grandparents Marty Stratton (Anita Hatchell) and Brenda Stratton, all of Lawrenceburg; his brothers Ryan Stratton of Mt. Eden, Daniel Glass and Andrew Glass of Shelbyville; his aunts and uncles, Carrie Searcy, Christy (Rob) Conner, Amy (Tom) Carney, James “Duke” Norris; his cousins, Dalton, Devin, Samantha Norris, Robert Zane Conner, Aubrey Catlett, Mallory Carney; and special family members, Shawn and Julie Black, Bobby and Anna Belle Glass, Steve and Alisha Rucker; his girlfriend Jazmyn Riveria; and his great aunts and uncles, Rebecca Morgan, Karen (Rob) Wood, Stephen McDonald, Jackie Searcy, Bobby (Teresa) Searcy, Mike (Rita) McDonald.
Dylan was a 2015 graduate of Anderson County High School where he was voted “Class Clown” and later attended the Bluegrass Community and Technical College. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends, playing 2K and Fortnite, playing basketball and attending his brother’s football games. He loved his two dogs Patty and Shelby. A Louisville Cardinal fan, he loved vacationing at the beach with family. An uplifting person, Dylan had a great sense of humor that kept everyone laughing and he was known for his smile that could light up a room and make others smile. He had a compassionate and caring soul. Dylan was a Christian and attended the Mt. Eden Christian Church. He loved his friends, family and especially his brothers.
A Celebration of Dylan’s life is being planned for the near future and will be posted once plans are completed.
