Elaine and Family, I was surprised and sad to read the news about Virgil in our Rochester, NY newspaper. I remember his visits with us in Wilmington when we were growing up. I served with Virgil on the Pace University Board- he was a great gentleman whose effect on our lives through his work as MTA Chairman will endure. A terrific force for the good of all of us in the NY Metropolitan area.

I was saddened to hear of Virgil's passing. I worked with him when he was Chairman of the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council (FASAC). He was a kind man, and I want to express my sympathy to his family at this time.
