Not sure what to say?

I was privileged to have known and worked with Virgil when he was with the MTA. Many of us who travel on Metro North will be forever grateful for the northern entrances. He was a gentleman and a friend.

Elaine and Family, I was surprised and sad to read the news about Virgil in our Rochester, NY newspaper. I remember his visits with us in Wilmington when we were growing up. I do hope he received our letter telling of his great aunt's (Louise) death in July at 104 3/4. Prayers for you. Love, Betty Conway Belden Iwan

I served with Virgil on the Pace University Board- he was a great gentleman whose effect on our lives through his work as MTA Chairman will endure. A terrific force for the good of all of us in the NY Metropolitan area.

I was saddened to hear of Virgil's passing. I worked with him when he was Chairman of the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council (FASAC). He was a kind man, and I want to express my sympathy to his family at this time.
I'm so sorry for your loss.

All of us at Gramatan Village were saddened to hear of Virgil's passing. He lived a great life and was committed to helping his community. He will be missed - our condolences to the family.

I worked with Mr. Conway when he was on the Board of Con Ed. He was always a gentleman. So sorry for your loss.
