My Sympathy to all her family,

Jane was a lovely woman. One of my favorites at the salon. Cheerful... So caring, and thoughtful.

She did have that twinkle in her eye.

We could go on and on when we chatted. She loved her family so much. She was genuine. So easy to spend time with. Truely beautiful. I thank her daughter for calling me to tell me of her passing, that was appreciated, I hung up the phone and I cryed..

The last years I hated to see her struggle, but...

I knew Jane for only a year in Marlborough. She and John sat next to me in the dining room. Her arrival was always with a smile and usually continued with laughter throughout our meal.Often, John would arrive first and say,"Oh, she's just socializing."

Jane (or Mrs. Doherty to me) was a warm, kind energetic vibrant and loving woman to all those who knew her. I spent a great deal of my childhood at her house, driving her crazy. Despite keeping her up all hours of the night during our sleepovers, eating her out of house and home, and messing up her house, she always made me feel welcome.
