Not sure what to say?

Dear Dixie and Family:

We express our love and concern to you and your family. Only today, 7-14 did we learn of the passing of Curtis. Our work at Southern Virginia was made most enjoyable by our association with you and Curtis.

With our deep condolences,

Vic and Leila Norton

Hello Dixie, I wanted to tell you that the Funeral Service was Lovely & paid Curtis wonderful compliments. You looked great. Hold on. Please get in touch when you return to Utah. Becky Bird

Our deepest sympathy's to the family. Ken, I was really surpised to read this in the Tooele Transcript. It has been a long time since I have seen Curtis and was very sorry to hear this news. We are unable to make the viewing or funeral and want to wish the very best to Curtis' family. He was way too young.

He was a wonderful man! He will be sorely missed!

Amanda and I were very saddened to hear of President Fawson's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family at this time.

We take solace in knowing that he truly lived an exemplary life of service and was always living life with the gospel in mind! He practiced what he was so fundamental at establishing at SVU... "to learn that life is service."

We will always cherish our memories with you both at SVU under the caring leadership of President Fawson.

Dear Dixie, Jody and I sincerely thank you for the sweetness & love that you and Curtis always expressed to our family. We think of you as family.

As a young missionary in Canada, Curtis penciled a drawing of me at about 5 years old. I still have it, framed and hanging in my home. It is one of my treasures.

In memory of his faithful missionary service, Curtis has not only blessed our lives with the gospel, but touched the lives of others in Paraguay, South Korea, Texas,...

Dear Dixie & Family ... I must say that I am eternally grateful for Curtis. It was he that brought the gospel to my family and baptized my parents. It was he that helped our family to be eternal.

If my parents never met Curtis, I would not be married to my wife nor would I have my 3 sweet boys. I couldn't explain nor imagine where I would be today without him. We love you so very much.

Love,

Shaun & Heather Stevenett

Dear Dixie,

I hope you will always know how much Curtis has meant to me. Without him serving a mission to Canada over 40 years ago, my parents never would have heard about the gospel and I wouldn't be here. His life was of great, great value and I will miss him. I like to think that my Dad was there to meet him. Nice, eh? I look forward to the day when I will see them both again. Having Curtis at my wedding last August was almost like having my Dad there. I'll never forget that day...

Dear Family,
Sorry to here about Curtis wish I was able to come up for the services, but just had surgery. My love and sorrow goes out to all of you. Love Tina
