Not sure what to say?

Sigi, "young Ferd" and Jennine,

I will always have wonderful memories of the times our two families spent together. I remember that we kids would listen upstairs as Sigi, Ferd, Anita & Bob would whoop it up over dominoes and cheap white wine! Dominoes brought out the "killer instincts" in Ferd and Bob, whose kind and gentle demeanors belied their inner competitive spirit! Great times and great memories that my family and I will always cherish.

I have great memories of Ferd as a friend of Jennine in High School. I always felt very welcome whenever I visited Sigi and Ferd's home. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Jennine, Sigi and Ferd,
I am sorry for your grief. Ferd was a truly wonderful man who touched many lives and hearts. His legacy lives on in all of you.

Ferd was one of the kindest and most giving man that I have ever met. Uncle Ferd you will be missed greatly at all our family gatherings!

Ferd will be missed. I worked with Ferd at ABC Bank and always appreciated his positive outlook on life and his great sense of humor.

You will always be remembered. Your love of life and your friendly smile will be with me always.

Sigi I was so sorry to hear about Ferd.

Ferd and Sigi are our neighbors. We couldn’t ask for better neighbors. We will miss Ferd a great deal. We always enjoyed walking across the street and visiting with both Ferd and Sigi. Knowing they were just across the street, made a difference. It has been our pleasure to have had the opportunity to know Ferd and claim him as a friend.

Thanks for the advice on the tomatoes Ferd, they were the best ever, this year.

Best regards and warmest wishes.
