Not sure what to say?

Dear Lydia and family;
It was such a pleasure to know pastor, my parents first met him in Ashton when when I was 6 weeks old and have kept in touch over the years. In the early 1980's Jon moved to Ogden, Utah with King's Variety Store and Pat and I got to know Pastor and Lydia even better. Pastor always had a kind word and was truly a man of God. Lydia, may God continue to bless you and your family and keep you in his steadfast ways,

Dear Lydia and Family - Pastor was such a great guiding force. He demonstrated that love includes being firm in your convictions and being willing to forgive. I especially appreciate the special bond Pastor and my brother Paul had for each other. God's Blessings and comfort to you in this time of sorrow. We are all blessed for knowing Pastor.

My heart is saddened by the loss of this man who has touched so many lives. From hammering away and keeping track of our group during the confirmation years, to 20 some years later baptizing my middle daughter, to the kind words in a letter during a time of health concerns, Pastor Riedel had always walked the walk and talked the talk of a great Christian man. Our prayers are with the family during this time and look forward to the time when we will see him again.

I will always have very precious memories of Pastor Riedel as a compassionate, caring and guiding force in my life as he took me through confirmation class at Zion. He and Lydia are true examples of all the great blessings God gives us in this life. I will miss his strength and smile, but know that he is in a better place now. God bless you, Pastor!

We will miss SO much his gentle spirit and just knowing that he is here. What a true example of Jesus his whole life has been. We are happy for him that he is finally home with our Lord. Love you Dad...
