Not sure what to say?

Mr. Shaw (Coach Shaw) was my baseball coach when I was 12 years old. He was a total class act and I admired him so much. I played on the team with Steve who was a chip off the old block...and that is high praise. I am certain that Coach is in Heaven with the Lord.

Doyle was a fine man with an outstanding Wife and family. I feel privileged to know and be part of the Shaw family. The love and strength you have will help you carry on. With deepest sympathy

Felicia and I were deeply saddened to learn of Mr. Shaw's passing and offer our sympathy and prayers to Mrs. Shaw, Steve, Stan, and the entire family. As so many have already said, he taught many of us to love the game and to play it the right way at Shades Mountain park. And as we grew up, he always greeted us with a big grin and sometimes with a handshake. But usually it was a hug instead. Thank you to the family for sharing him with the rest of us. We will miss him.

Steve, Stan and Mrs. Shaw-
I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Shaw's passing. I hope you will find comfort in your memories and in your strong faith.

I worked with Doyle on several Southern Company control system projects and his experience and skill as an engineer were very much and asset to the company. He was a pleasure to work with. Sincerely, Phil McCullough

Steve: your father helped me tremendously in my career and I really appreciate it. He was a man true to his word and a pleasure to be around.

Stan, Steve, and Mrs Shaw.
We think the world of your family. Doyle was a dear friend.
I can hear him at the the ballpark now saying " Hustle Russell". We have great memories from knowing the family. The community has lost a great servant and person. We love y'all.

Wherever young people gathered in Bluff Park, Coach Shaw was close by ready to share his time and experiences. His legacy continues to impact lives today.

My deepest condolences to Jean , Steve and Stan
