Question: What was the only European legislature to require a unanimous vote to pass any law or bill?

Answer: The Polish Parliament.

I received a smile from Mr. Walsh when I remembered the above in my Sophomore year after he had mentioned it in History class when we were Freshman. He taught us how to take notes and most importantly, how to efficiently learn.

R.I.P. to a great teacher and a great man!

I was at Archmere from 1961 to 1965. Coach Walsh was my teacher and football coach. He was the most influential person in my life next to my father. I have been forever grateful for the way he led us and for giving me the chance to prove myself . I've never known a better person.

Dear Ann and Family,

I worked with John at Archmere for many years. We retired together along with Pat Appleton. Always a special man. A bright and shiny star. A dedicated teacher.

God bless.

Ann and family,
So very sorry for your loss. Had many laugh's with John. He had a kind word for everyone.

Mr. Walsh was my first boss at Fairblue Swim Club. The lessons he taught me have help make me the man I am, father I became and a "boss" in my own right. My condolences to his family, friends and all those who will miss him.

My coach and sometimes ride to school. Very powerful man. Straight shooter. Competitor. Big heart. You touched my life coach. RIP

I've appreciated Mr. Walsh's encouragement throughout my entire life as my relative, as a teacher when I was at Concord, and as manager at Fair Blue Swim Club. He always greeted me and my family with a warm smile and kind word. A wonderful man who will be greatly missed!!!
