E. WEDEKIND Obituary
News Death Notice
WEDEKIND, E. Jennifer 65, formerly of Middletown, OH, passed away peacefully in her sister's home August 15, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born September 9, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Wilma Dell (DeHart) and George Jacob Wedekind, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her sister, C. Susan Waits; and nephew, Tim Lafayette, Jr. Earlier in her life she was avid horsewoman and spent time at a ranch in Wyoming. She was a member of Job's Daughters and had a strong faith. She enjoyed her family and all her nieces and nephews, Tim, Linda, Beth, Matt, Kenzi, Mallory, Clara, Justin, and Susie. Jenni is survived by a sister, Mary (Mike) Bogumill of Mishawaka; and niece, Linda (Story) Wheeler of Monroe, OH; and her beloved cats. She was employed at the Air Force Institute of Technology, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. She was an assistant registrar. She was a strong, independent woman who was passionate about her family, friends, her work, her pets and the Republican Party. She was a volunteer for the Dayton Airshow for 20 years, a diligent worker and most beloved sister. Visitation will be held Monday from 3-8PM at the Breitenbach McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10AM at St. John Catholic Church in Middletown, OH. Burial will follow at North Monroe Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, or to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. To send condolences, please visit www.McGannHay.com

Hard to believe its been10 years. I do miss her and every time I travel thru Wyoming (which I recently did 3 days ago) I remember her stories of working on a ranch back in the day.

I was truly saddened by Jennifer's passing. Even though we are separated by many miles our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Jen was a class act and I will miss not being able to pick up the phone and have a chat with her.
