Not sure what to say?

My Uncle Buddy was the kindest, most thoughtful man I have ever known. Ever since early childhood he has always made everything fun. He was an awesome listener, and I never heard him say one unkind word about anyone or anything. Our families blessing today is knowing he is whole again and in the arms of Jesus. See you at the gates Uncle Buddy! Love, lindy

I had the pleasure of meeting Buddy when I did some volunteer work at Woodland Ridge. I work at Georgia Tech and I knew from the moment I met Buddy that he was an engineer. He was a delightful man. I will never forget him.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

We were blessed to be neighbors and friends of Martha and Buddy for over 13 years in Hammock Dunes. Buddy lived his faith, and he lived life with joy and a deep love for his family and friends. He served on our Board of Directors here and always had a kind word and ready smile for everyone.

We are so grateful for the friendship we shared and will treasure always the great memories of times spent together.

Scott and I are very sad to hear of the passing of Mr. Young. He was a very kind gentleman. I know he will be missed very much, but I know he will always be with you in spirit just like my mom and dad are with me and Scott.

We will keep your entire family in our thoughts and prayers.

Buddy Young meant so much to me as I know he did to so many others. He was the most kind and thoughtful man that I believe I have ever known. He presented me with a $2 bill the day I first opened my business - for good luck. That $2 bill has been very lucky and it is one of my personal treasures. The evidence of the outstanding character of Buddy Young exists in the wonderful family that he left behind. He will be one of the first persons that I look for when I go to heaven one day!

So sorry to hear of your recent loss. May the God of all comfort comfort you in all of your trials.

We have so many happy memories of playing golf in the Mixed-Member Guest at Wildcat Cliffs Country Club in Highlands, North Carolina with Buddy and Martha. Their friendship has been a blessing to us. We will miss him !

Mr. Young taught me in Sunday School many years ago. My last encounter with him was during a walk in the neighborhood when I passed his house. Aware that he was dealing with memory issues, I was understanding when he stopped me to ask me to remind him who I was and about my family. He was very kind. What more can anyone ask of a person than one who proclaims the Gospel of Jesus Christ and is kind? What a great legacy for his family and friends!
