Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of EB's passing. We met on a cruise one year and stayed in touch by phone over the course of many years. We shared the love of old movies and great novels. I am truly going to miss the long-distance friendship...

He helped form my life at BRCC, as well as beyond. Always liked his visits here in VA. I just found out he passed. He will be greatly missed here. Is there anyway I can get a CD of his Memorial. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the Family.

I worked with EB at BRCC and remained friends throughout the years. So sorry to hear of his passing. He was a special caring and witty man. Prayers to his family.

I have many fond memories of being a guest at EB’s home(s) in Harrisonburg. He was always gracious and welcoming to me. My goal was to beat him at Scrabble even one time, but with that keen mind of his, doing so was a challenge. I hadn’t seen him in many years but always have remembered him with love and gratitude for letting me hang out at his place.

As I was working in my yard, I was reminded of the many fond memories I have of E.B. opening his door and sharing some comment, wit, and wisdom with me since becoming my dear neighbor and friend. I am so grateful for those memories and the opportunity I had to know E.B. I will miss him!

So sorry to hear of EB's passing. He will be missed and I hope all of his extended family is well.
