It was always a treat to visit with Van when we were in Washington. He will always be in our hearts and our family will miss him.

It was such a pleasure to know Van and call him a friend. I enjoyed his stories of roller skating, and sky diving. Van was very proud he could fit in his uniform. I accompanied Van to many dinners and he came to my home for Holiday celebrations. Van was a good friend and I will miss him
