Not sure what to say?

There are no words that could provide you with adequate comfort or a rational explanation for such a loss, but that's all that most of us can give. Courtney was a fine father, a loving husband , and a great example to everyone around him. He was exceptional in his patience and generous with his smile and warm manner. My loss and that of the boys that he helped to guide leaves an emptiness in all of our lives. Please accept my heart felt condolences as I share in a small way, some portion...

Jennifer,
I can't begin to tell you how sad I was to hear of Courtney's death. I saw him just a few weeks ago and he gave me the "thumbs up" so I thought he was better. I always enjoyed talking to you and both Allie & I want to extend our deepest sympathy to you, Abbey & Luke. Please know that you have many friends at St. Matthew's who remember you, Courtney & the kids so fondly. With our love and prayers, Beth & Allie Friedman

Jennifer,
Hello. You do not know me but Courtney came along side our family when my brother tragically passed away in June of 2004 at Age 28.
I truly thought and always meant to tell Courtney that I thought he was an angel sent by God for families who were in our situation.
I have thought about Courtney often and I am deeply saddened to hear that you in the midst of such a tremendous loss.
Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Blessings,

I don't know what to say. Each night I prayed for Courtney's recovery and each Sunday St. Matthew's would hear his name and also pray for him. We heard today that he was now with God. It was a shock and I am so terribly sorry for your loss. My prayers continue for you Jennifer, Abbey, and Luke. May God bless all of you. Sincerely,

Abbey

Jennifer,

We were shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Courtney's death. You and your family will be in our prayers.

Although we didn't have the privilage of knowing him well, we were impressed by Courtney's cheerful, positive attitude and care helping with Luke's Cub Scout den. Always enjoyed talking with him at meetings. We're very saddended to hear of his passing--he will be greatly missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you now.
