Not sure what to say?

Dear Annie and family,

We just returned today from a cruise, and it is with sadness that we learned of our dear friend John's passing.

And dear friend he was. I will never forget his kindness in coming to our home shortly after our marriage and offering his friendship, wisdom and guidance.

Both Bob and I spent many hours with him at the counter at the Corner Deli, and I will treasure our chats in the Warren Hospital coffee shop.

What a blessing he was to all, and...

My deepest sympathy to the Robertson family. A sweeter man you couldn't find on this earth. Always loving, giving, and kind with an uplifting word and smile. His kindness to my parents and my family was such a blessing. I shall forever be grateful to him. I know that dear, sweet John Robertson is happy and loved in his Savior's arms. God Bless you all.

To The Robertson Family: Please know that your family is in our prayers through this sorrowful time. To have John Robertson touch our lives for so many years was a true honor. The entire Belvidere area is a more beautiful place because of John. His memory is truly a treasure.

To the Robertson family,

Rev Robertson was a great man. His smile is itched in my memory, and I can still hear is soft spoken voice. His jokes were the best! I feel your sadness as I too recently lost a loved one (my mom). Knowing they are with God is a great comfort.

Deepest sympathies,

Ann and family - please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. It was with great saddness that I heard about Rev Robertson's passing this week. What an impact he has made on so many of us that knew him... he will always be remembered for his sincerity and kindness as a minister and friend. Always...

john will be missed greatly.he was a wonderful man,and friend to whomever he touched.john was a man that you could joke with, and expect to get one back.he loved life to the fullest, and the little town of belvidere will always be his home.god bless and comfort you.

Robertson Family,

I will always remember Rev Robertson coming to our home to visit when I was a kid. Not only did he bring a perfect little gift like a pencil or piece of hard candy for me and my brother, but his warm smile, kind words, and genuine concern were always a comfort. He was a large part of the community and one of the things that made Belvidere a great place to grow up.

Tim Bergmann & Family

My deepest condolences to the family of Rev.Robertson. He was one of the greatest men I have ever known. He personally helped me with a very difficult time in my life back in the 1970's. For that I will be forever grateful. Though I have not seen him since 1992, he was, and always will be in my heart.
