E. Lynne Swingle

I so remember Mrs. Swingle, but Miss Frye when I had her in school. She was such a good role model to me and I always wondered where she ended up. I do remember after she had her daughter, babysitting for her. I'm so sorry for your loss, I know what your dealing with. I'm sending prayers and hugs your way. God Bless!!

Miss Frye, as I knew her, was my fourth grade teacher and my first crush. She was a beautiful person...inside and out. RIP Miss Frye.

So sorry to hear this! Mrs. Swingle was one of my favorite teachers at Garfield in 4th grade. She had us listen to music thst I still think of her when I hear. I also remember reading Ralph on the Motorcycle. She always was so beautiful and best dressed teacher and always wore the best perfume! My mom was a room mother and allowed us many fun memories. She was a great teacher who didn't give grades, we had to work hard and earn them! I ♡ her!

Wow was the first words I spoke when I first saw her. I'm sure I looked like a deer just caught in the head lights. She was so beautiful,I had never seen a teacher or a women so beautiful. She was my first crush, I wanted in her class so bad. I will always remember her cracking her chewing gum, her flashy and big earrings. But mostly for the sound of her high heels either in the hallways or walking across the classroom floors, you could always tell if she was after some bad student or just...

Rip Miss Frye. You were an awesome teacher.

Mrs. Swingle was such a special lady. She was my 4th grade teacher at Garfield Elementary. I'll always remember her reading aloud to us and her super snappy outfits!
