Not sure what to say?

Was great to work with Brother Gavin when I was employed at Delasalle.

My sincerest sympathy for the family and friends of Brother Eamon. As a DLS cheerleader, and for many years after, he was an inspiration to me. Always encouraging. Always kind. He will be so missed. I am blessed to have known him while he was here.

Brother Stephen made a great difference in my life. Because he came and spoke to our 8th grade class about coming to Roncalli, the starting up Christian Brothers high school, I went there, instead of to Marmion. The choice affected the whole rest of my life, where I went to college (Lewis, another Brother's school), my degree (Lewis was a good business school), who I married (I met my wife at Lewis), and even my moving to Muskegon (where we lived, also influenced by who I married, I became...

I will never forget Brother Eamon's attention to details...he always made you feel important. He was one of the nicest people I have ever met and I feel truelly blessed to have known him and to call him my
friend.

I AM SORRY FOR THE LOSS OF BROTHER EAMOM GAVIN, HE NOW RESTS IN A SAFE AND LOVELY PLACE IN HEAVEN. HE ALWAYS HAD A KIND WORD FOR ME WHEN I WAS WORKING THE GAMES AT DELASALLE. I WISH I COULD HAVE SEEN ONE MORE TIME. BUT I HAVE BEEN ILL MYSELF. BUT THE FOND MEMORIES WILL LIVE ON IN ALL OF OUR LIVES. GOD BLESS YOU BROTHER GAVIN

Prayers and fond memories of Brother Eamon while I was employed at DLS for many years. Always a smile and kind words for everyone that either worked and/or studied at DLS. You will be missed by many, and know that you are now with our Lord.

The Christian Brother's Star the
Signum Fidei (Sign of Faith) is the "Star of the Magi" or Meteor which the Three Wisemen followed with great faith and zeal to the birth place of
Our Lord Jesus Christ. Brother Eamon was a man of
tremendous faith and zeal.
He helped many in the classroom, on the athletic field and in the community.
He did it with a smile.
A toast is in order this March 17th.
We will miss you METEOR.
Enjoy your reward in Heaven.

Bro. Eamon at our 40th-Year Class Reunion, 7-29-06

"Brother Stephen," as he was known to us at the time, was our first principal at Roncalli High School in Aurora, IL. He will be fondly remembered for his Irish humor, his love for his students, and his participation at every one of our class reunions. He always spoke highly of our class, although we could never quite figure out why. Rest in Eternal Peace, Bro. Eamon. Thank you for your dedication!

De La Salle Institute staff and students will greatly miss Br.Eamon. Always had a smile and kind word for all.We will miss him dearly.
