Mrs. Benge:
I am very sad that Mr. Earl has passed away. When I was in 6th grade and wasn't sure that I wanted to keep on playing an instrument, my mom signed me up for lessons with him at the Band Room. When I saw how much he enjoyed playing his clarinet, I decided that I would give it more of a chance. He was always encouraging and you could see his love of music. Since then, I have been in All County Band several times and have made superiors at the Solo and Ensemble competitions....
