Earl Bland Sr.

I was a 911 dispatcher with Peoria Police when (then) Sgt. Bland was with the Sheriff's Dept. He was a gentle man and a gentleman ... was always a pleasure to work with him. Rest in peace, friend!

To all the Bland family....I worked with Earl for many years when I was a dispatcher. He was a great guy and was really liked by all the deputies, and myself. He always made the job fun. He was always fondly called " Earline Blandini, one of the Blandini brothers "!! I used to get the biggest laugh when Earl, Dave Bryson, Tommie Schuettler, Chico Hernandez used to get together and tease each other. They were hilarious. He was a great cop, and a super nice guy. We will all miss him. ...

I worked K9 with earl third shift then we all drove school buses for limestone. He was a great guy and loved sports and betting odds. He was a happy man always smiling my best to his family.
