Earl Truman Burgett

Mr. Burgett was my 6th grade teacher in 1978, and he was without question the most influential teacher I ever had. He had a great sense of humor (he needed it with all of us), was generous (took the whole class to his home for a barbecue, and I recall that the size of his property seemed to me then like he owned half of Kenmore), and even took the class to Victoria, B.C. on the Princess Marguerite for a day.
