Not sure what to say?

I worked for Mr. Carpenter at Richards pancake house as a girl. I remember Mr. Carpenter as an excellent and gentle boss. May he rest in peace. Silvia Barragán

Thank you Mr. Carpenter for giving me my first job. I can remember when you would call me double S.

Uncle Earl was always a very special person to me. I always looked forward to seeing him when he, Aunt Lee, Darlene and Gary came home to Morristown, Tennessee to visit when he was still in the Air Force. I think of him often and will see him again someday.

Although my memories of Gary and Darlene's Dad are brief glimpses when we were all stationed in Berlin in the late 60's early 70's I want Gary and Darlene and their families to know that I am thinking of them during this time!
My thoughts and prayers are with you all - Nancy Liepmann Van Duzer

Although we have never met Earl, we know his son Gary, and became close friends with him. We were dismayed to hear of Earl's passing and I am writing to extend our deepest sympathies to his family.

Gary once told me it was Earl who taught him that the best part of life is building good memories. I hope that the memories you built will help you to soldier on through this difficult time.

With warmest regards,
Dean Barry, and the Employees of 21st Century Medicine.

I wanted to send my condolences to the family and hope time brings peace in your hearts.

Earl, where would we be without brave soldiers like yourself? Thank you for your time in the service.

Also, that was a beautiful eulogy, so descriptive the details made it vivid and touching.

Earl, Thank you for allowing me to share in your life. I will miss you at the table when sharing a family meal together. You raised a fine son who is a treasure to me. It dosen't matter where you are in life, it matters who you have beside you. Thank you for Gary. Love, Nanc

Grandaddy...oh how I hated having to call you that! And of course by the time I realized WHY you wanted to be called that (and was actually willing to) you had given in to "Grandad." But that was your style: giving a little more when it was important to the other person. I will always carry with me your love of baseball, french onion soup (the best from Berlin, of course!), fishing the day away, playing golf, and of course, sneaking a quick peek at pretty girls -- even if it gets me slapped!...

Our prayers are with you and your family. Jim will be at the memorial service this afternoon, I'm sorry I can't make it.
