CONWAY, Earl J., 77, of Glen Allen, went to rest with the Lord after a courageous battle with health issues on April 15, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hoke and Esline Conway; and brother, Harvey Conway. He is survived by his wife, A. Jean Conway; two daughters, Sandra George (Lance) and Donna Fletcher (Kenneth); two granddaughters, Kimberley Markham (Rob) and Rachel Clark (Jonathan); two great- granddaughters, Nicole Bouton and Kaitlyn Markham; five sisters, Eleanor Sharpe, Pat Meyers (Floyd), Mary Singleton (Jack), Carolyn Midkiff (Bobby) and Brenda Rogers; sister-in-law, Jean Conway; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Earl was an honored U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Bliley's-Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Road, where services will be held 2 p.m. Monday. Interment Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross or Trinity Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 8469 Atlee Rd., Mechanicsville, Virginia 23116.
