Not sure what to say?

Earl was not only my father-in-law from 1992 to 2000 - he was my friend, and one of my favorite people. More than anyone I know, Earl followed the example of Jesus by talking with and helping the sick, the homeless and the troubled. He would gladly be late in order to comfort a person on the sidewalk. We shared long walks in Ohio and glorious hikes in Colorado, and I always admired his passionate, forceful sermons. I was deeply saddened to learn of Earl's passing. Like all of us, I miss him...

Dear Ruby and Ruth,

We wanted to extend to you both and all of your family our most sincere of sympathies for the loss of Dr. Cunningham, who married us on November 25, 1981 at the North Royalton Methodist Church. We have so many fond memories of our time with him preparing for the ceremony and keeping in touch with Christmas cards over the years.

May God Bless and Keep you in Good Health,

Sincerely,

Linda and Ronald Ellis

Dear Ruby and Ruth,

We wish to extend our sympathy and remembrance of Dr. Earl H. Cunningham, our minister and friend.

He was one of the kindest and most Christian men that I have ever met. I never heard him say a negative word about anyone. He always made each person feel important.

As his church secretary, I experienced the many nice things he did for people. He was never too busy to help a person in need or with a problem. I think everyone who knew him...

Our deepest sympathies on the passing of Reverand Earl. He was a wonderful man who was there for everyone who needed him. The church community will certainly miss him, but he is with God now. What better place for him to be???
Take care and God bless.

Dear Mrs. Cunningham, Daughter & Family:

Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. Rev. Cunningham was such a courageous man and a major influence in my life during his time with us at Mt. Pleasant UMC. I especially remember how he encouraged my brother, Andrew Coggins, to broaden his horizons and travel to India with a Christian Youth group.

I know you guys have FAITH and will use the strength of family to get through this turbulent time.

GOD is...

Dear Mrs. Cunningham,
I was sorry to hear about Earl's passing. He had served our community with reverence and complete dedication. Please accept my sincere sympathy to you and your daughter.

Got the sad news from Dorothy Sadowski about Earl's death. Even after six years of living in FL, Cleveland area remains "home" for me in my heart...with all its many associations. This news zapped me right back to those dynamic days of our Interfaith Anti-racism efforts and Earl's (and yours) wonderful, strong, personal witness to real togetherness. With Love and sympathy...and serious remembering....Pat

Ruby & Ruth --- so very sorry to hear the news. There are people in life you never really expect to leave us, Earl was one of them! Much love & sympathy -- Toni

I thank God that he allowed a man such as Dr. Cunnigham to be an influence on my life. His years at Mt. Plesant where an inspiration to me and gave me the courage to reach out to others of diffrent races. It is rare to have someone as loving as Dr. Cunnigham to touch your life and be a model for your future. God Bless.
