Read MoreIt is with much sadness that I read of the untimely demise of Dr. Earl Diamond. He was my "boss" from 1968 to 1985 at the School of Hygiene. He helped me so much with my job as well as counselling me for my future in the department. I have a deep appreciation for all the kindness he and Mrs. Diamond had shown me and my son Randy Roberts.

I am Ilene Bloom's son (formerly Ilene Roberts), who worked for
Dr. Diamond at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Leibe Diamond was my orthopedic doctor who cared for me when I was
a child.
I have very fond memories of Dr. Diamond. He was very good to my
mother.
