I used to live in Woodbridge 40 years ago and remember Hillbilly Heaven. Just listened to interview on Bullseye with Dan and it prompted memories.
RIP you were loved by community.

Earl and his wife Mary Ruth , where great people. I was a kid when my dad first met Earl. I’ve known the Dixon family for over 57 years. Donna was 2 years older than me. Sherri was 3 years younger. But Mary Ruth Dixon was a beautiful person inside and out. Earl and Mary Ruth where close friends with my parents Roy Wayne and Alice Wayne. Will miss them. My mother really missed Mary Ruth. My mother is 90 now. Greatly loved family.

My friend and I went to his house and he wanted to know if we could help him with his pool. All he did was talk about his daughter and showed us all the pics in a shrinetype room of his daughter and tell us chevy chase was as tall as the door. Then we went to Hilbilly heaven and had some drinks. Wow time flys. How are you Dan and Donna?
