Dear Karen and Family, I just wanted you to know how sad I am at your loss. Earl was a sweetie, a generous, funny, kind man. I'll never forget dancing with him at my daughter Adrianne's deb ball. He was something else! His generous loan of his plane and the house in N.C.at the time of my Dad's illness was something I'll never forget. We know he was one of a kind. We all will cherish the great memories of all he did to spread a little sunshine and goodwill.

We have only been here for a short time and hardly had time to know Earl. We did however, have glimpses of his humor, generosity and love for Karen. It seems like we were always driving in the opposite direction when we passed him on Thomas Drive.
My family & I will miss him.
Deepest sympathy, David S. Humphreys, Ioana, David & Mia; Sam & Pia
