There are no words to ease the pain of losing a loved one , except to remember all the great memories one had shared to keep one company in this difficult time . Earl's loss will be felt in so many ways as he was loved and respected by so many .

I am so sorry that you have lost your dear husband. I will always think of you two as a team of entertainers. Your witty repartee and bon mots were the hard act to follow at BBF awards. Polly - I am so sorry to hear of Earl's passing. He gave me my first job ever in the architectural field, gave me generous feedback on my student work, and always had a kind, supportive word whenever our paths crossed in the office. A true gentleman, architect, and teacher.

To Polly and family, Steve and I are saddened to hear of Earl's passing. He was truly an incredible man and a gentleman. Our prayers are with you.

I am so sorry to hear of Earl's passing. He was a great influence on my development as an architect. He brought honesty and integrity to professional practice and left me with lessons I apply every day. He will be missed.
