Not sure what to say?

Thinking back on old memories, Earl came to mind, so I looked for him. I am sorry for what I foundand that we had lost touch. Earl hired me at old Metpath and was a great manager for his people. Maybe not so company oriented, but his crew was treated like we mattered. Because of his confidence in me, I retired from the original group of about 15 locally to the international corporation we became 35 years later. Earl cared, and was a big part of that early growth. I remember his lovely wife...

Remembering Brother Earl Flower, a year after his passing. Rest in Peace.

Dave Huiett, Sigma Phi Epsilon

I'm sorry to hear Earl passed away. While I did not know Earl personally we communicated on the Internet. We were both US Navy Cryptologists in the sixties and we both served on the USNS Muller (TAG 171). I will miss our friendship. May he rest in peace.

I too was a frat brother of Earl at CSU. I remember him for his intelligence, humor and resonant voice. I will have a beer in his honor...it was a priviledge knowing him...and I appreciated his emails from a few years ago. My sympathies to his family.

"G. Earl" will be missed by his family and by his Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity Brothers. Rest in Peace, Brother Flower.

SigEp Poem:
No one could tell me
where my soul might be.
I searched for God,
but he eluded me.
I sought my Brother out,
and found all three.

Ignatius reunion - 2010

Earl was from the Ignatius class of '65. Many of us who graduated with Earl knew him to be a kind man, truly interested in others. Although he was a quiet guy, he was always ready to say hello at an Ignatius event, be it athletic or one of our reunions. We heard from Bob McKinney that Earl had been very ill.

Earl, we will pray for your family during their time of sadness.

Larry Pearce - Cleveland St. Ignatius Class of '65.

I was in college with and a fraternity brother of Earl in the 60's and also graduated with him in 1972. I lost touch with him over the years, but he turned out to be a good father, husband and grandfather. He also served our country as a uniformed serviceman. He has our respect. Our sympathy and prayers go out to the family.
