I met Earl while we were both at IU. He always had a smile on his face and goodwill in his heart. I always looked forward to his funny Christmas cards. My greatest time with Earl was when we hitchhiked down into Texas and then took a bus to Monterray Mexico. We were gone 10 or 12 days and had a great time. My deepest sympathy goes out to Earl's family. I remember Earl as a great guy who always had a smile on his face, and who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was truly one of those good people you meet in life that you'll never forget. God bless you Earl.
