It was a pleasure working together with Sid with the State Hwy, Dept. in the early 60s. We traveled all over the state mapping photograph ties for the aerial surveys. Dear Mary,Susan and Charlotte,
Please know that comforting thoughts and happy memories of Sid come with this message. Sid was one of those unforgettable characters that fortunately come into our lives to make things interesting. He always had time to listen, he always had a good story and often a good joke, he created great puzzles, handy gadgets, and made delicious cookies and brownies.
I am so glad that I knew your husband and Dad.
Sincerely,
Linda

I always enjoyed talking with Sid when I worked at McKim & Creed. He always had a smile (and sometimes a smirk) on his face while watching you try to figure out one of his puzzles.
While working at McKim & Creed in 2004, Sid made a wagon for my little girl, Natalie. I adopted her that year from Guatemala and was very touched that he gave her such a wonderful gift.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Sid's family during this difficult time.
