Not sure what to say?

Dear Gay: Thanks so much for connecting. I am so sorry to hear of Earl's passing. What a shock. I loved reading about all of Earl's accomplishments. So talented and giving, yet he was a humble man. My memories of Earl go way back to when I was a teenager. My mother was working for Earl. He was a bachelor at that point and he came over for dinner frequently. As a teen, my impression of Earl was that he was funny, nice and kind of cute! I remember when you came over with Earl and met my...

Earl and I were students at Santa Rosa High School, Santa Rosa, CA. We graduated in 1958. Over the years, Earl attended our Class Reunions. We will miss seeing Earl, but we will never forget him.

Earl was both my orthodontist and then later my work mate on the Matthew Turner. He was a meticulous and skilled craftsman at both. I am glad our paths crossed, twice.

We will be attending the Celebration of Life. I cannot tell you how devastated we are to this news

So sorry to hear about Earl´s passing. Our condolences to all the family

Gay, I am so sorry and horrified to hear of Earl's death. What a dreadful shock for you all. Much love to you and the children and grandchild, and my deepest sympathy.

Gay and family, sending you hugs and strength. Gay I never shared this with you on the tennis court. During Covid Dr. Earl (my Sammy called him that) worked with my Sammy in 7th grade to help him with Math. They never met in person, but talked weekly for several months. Sammy connected very easily with Earl, they talked math but also just chatted which was so wonderful. Love to you all!

I am so sorry for your loss. EJ did so much to help me become successful as I had the privilege to spend three years learning from him. He was a mentor and father figure to me at a time when I really needed it. He changed many lives with his selfless dedication to others. Prayers to you and your family.

Gay, I will always carry Earl´s smiling eyes and witty comments in my heart and soul. I am deeply saddened by your loss and send you my deepest condolences and my love.
