Dad,
You left many great memories for both family and friends to remember you by. I just want to mention a few-your love for mom, your children, your grandchildren and great grandchildren. Fishing for anything that swam, hunting for anything that was legal. Your dedication to the Marine Corps even after serving your country for 33 years. As the saying goes "once a Marine always a Marine". Your terrific sense of humor and last but not least living life to the utmost fullest.

I remember his zest for life. He had a good time.

It was a sad day when I learned that my friend and mentor passed away. We shared many a hunting adventure in Southampton County, VA. We shared numerious hunting secrets and moments, bunked in the same room, ate at the same table and drank from the same bottle. My own hunting ethics and skills were learned from this Great Outdoorsman. His love for the Outdoors, Family, Marine Corp was expressed every day. I once as a joke, played the Marine Corp Hymn as a wake up call for a hunting day. ...
