Earl James Lafferty

I am Walter Coats in Fla.I lived on Allegan St. in Sag. as a boy. I knew Geroge and Earl over 80 years ago and I worked for M.B. T. with their mother. I'm very sorry to read this obit. on my Inter net I'm 91 . Before I worked for bell I worked at the chev foundry and road to work with George in an old model T ford that he bought for about 10 or 12 dollars We are all very old.

Kathy, I have many fond memories of our parents together so many years ago. My thoughts go out to you and your family for your dad was a wonderful person.

Kathy, I had the priviledge of meeting your parents several years ago during the Wicks Boiler area. I sat in on some of the knitting lessons that your mother gave my mom. Earl was such a treasure! Some of our earliest youth group visits to Shattuck Manor were to see Earl. The kids (and I) loved hearing Earl's stories about growing up in Saginaw. And boy, was he feisty! I'll miss him ... and I am so sorry for your loss.

Even though Earl has passed on, his memory will live on in your hearts forever. May God be with each of you during this time of sorrow.
