SEBRING, Fla. — Earl Dale Lundquist, 82, winter resident of Sebring, Fla., coming from Bellaire, passed away Thursday, Jan. 8, 2009. He was born July 6, 1926, to Gustaf A. and Amanda E. (Lindstrom) Lundquist in Highland Park.

He had been a resident of Sebring for 19 years, coming from Michigan.

He worked as a teacher for an elementary school and was a veteran of the United States Navy during World War II.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara L. Lundquist; daughters, Karen Rae Gustafson of Rochester, Minn., and Robin Richards of Lawrence, Kan.; sons, Dale Lundquist of Lawrence, Kan., Kerry Lundquist of St. Clair Shores and Kevin Lundquist of Rochester, Minn.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Sarah Lundquist.

Memorial contributions can be made in his name to Good Shepherd Hospice of Highlands County.
