Not sure what to say?

I have very fond memories of Earl. May your wonderful memories be a comfort to you all, now and in the future.
Love and hugs to you all.
Gayle and Family

Uncle Earl was very near and dear to our hearts and he has left behind many great memories. We always looked forward to visiting and spending time with him and Aunt Eva. It was unfortunate the travel distance between us was so far. He will be missed.

Ren here - Dad and I have been reminiscing......Dad has talked about his days growing up with Earl and offers these thoughts and stories. Dad says. "He was a good one to be a friend with -you always knew what hIs thoughts were. You didn't push him around very much." Dad was telling me a story about a hired hand named Jim who didn't think that he should be doing the work - that perhaps these boys and especially Earl should be doing the work. Earl didn't take kindly to this suggestion. ...

I will always remember the many visits, jokes and fun Don & I had with the Earl Nelson family. There are so many memories that will last me the rest of my life. One of the luckiest days was when I met my other Nelson family. Thank you for sharing your lives with me. Love, Muriel

Kim ~ Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Dale, Eva and your family. I have such fond memories growing up with you in Oxnard and hanging at your house. Your Dad was always fun to be around. Also going to his car lot in Port Hueneme and picking out different cars to drive.
All our best, Steve & Hilary DeCesari

Eva, Dale, Kim and families ---
Earl really loved his family and you were all very close; the honor and tributes that are being sent his way are testaments to this.
I was always very fond of my Uncle Earl because he called a spade a spade and he never failed to offer his opinion on any subject.
I remember when he first started dating Eva and they would come out to the store at Belle Plaine. A young Dale would come too and sit in the store and read comics and Mom or Grandma...

What a beautiful and fitting obituary. He would have been so, so proud. Think of you often.

Chris, Tony, Adam and Janine and especially Uncle Rolly

John & I are so very sorry about Earl's passing. We'll miss him dearly and will always have very fond memories...especially the time that we won TENNIS lessons at a GOLF tournament because our score was so high they were suggesting that we take up another sport! We didn't think that was very funny!
Love always from,
Donna Boyce

With our deepest sympathy to the Nelson family for the lost of Earl with whom we shared very fond memories as a fellow democrat.

Sincerely
Roger & Rose
