Not sure what to say?

I met Clay in high school. He was kind, generous, and had a terrific sense of humor! I enjoyed seeing him occasionally over the years. Always with a big smile and a warm hug. Clay you gave your family and friends wonderful memories to share.

On behalf of the Soto Family, I would like to thank everyone who left such kind words about Clay. What you read, is TRULY who he was. To me, he was "The Claymiester", a Genuine person. For years, I would introduce him as my soon to be Brother in Law. We always got a kick out of that. I will miss my Pomegranate Picking Partner. Rest in Peace Claymiester, till we meet again.

50 plus years ago meet Clay at Doug Wanders house always on the run to a new adventure. Good or bad it was always fun . A group of guys taking part a life to remember as teenagers. I in joyed his company. To trust and help in any situation he was there for you. A good hard working man at anything he did that I could remember. I would see him off an on through the years and laugh about the past a good memory of him is what I have because a memory is all we have of the past Greg brown

Who didn't know Clay! First time I met him was at Doug Wanders Dad's house, he made nachos(50 yrs ago). I read all the great memories from Anita, Nicole, Andrea....My heart goes out to you Anita. And Cathy too.

I went to school with Clay and I probably haven't seen him in 50 years, but the obituary did bring up a couple of memories for me. Many of his fellow 7th and 8th grade classmates were impressed with his superb ability to pull wheelies on a ten speed bike, he wasn't shy about showing this skill off. We won the city 8th grade flag football championship. Coach Ettles (RIP), in his first year of teaching, coached our Lincoln Red team. In a drill, he had a ball carrier run through a gauntlet of...
