Earl J. Ponder

Earl J. Ponder, 78, of Denton, Texas, a U.S. Navy Air Corps Aviation Radioman during World War II and a retired Material Control worker for General Motors, passed away at Denton Regional Medical Center on the evening of Monday, July 10, 2000. Rosary services are scheduled for Thursday, July 13, 2000, until time of visitation from 7-8 p.m., at DeBerry Funeral Directors, 2025 West University Drive, Denton. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, July 14, at 10 a.m., officiated by the Rev. Bruce Chamberlain. Committal services will take place on Friday, 2 p.m., at Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery, Dallas.
