Not sure what to say?

Uncle Earl was a great man, not only in stature but of heart and character. He is the kind of person you are proud to be associated with, and to be in the presence of. He will, no doubt, be sorely missed by his family, friends & community. He has returned to the company of God now, and thank-you God for allowing us to share our lives with him.

You will be greatly missed...Coach.

Coach Putman was my automotives teacher in 1976 and 1977. I have many great memories of him in auto class. Especially those times when he tried to put together a carburetor with those big fingers. He could throw a transmission like a bowling ball. Coach Putman also had a great sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and his son Dale who was also one of my classmates in his Dads auto trades class in 1977. He is the original, Gentle Giant.

A great guy who made a difference.

Earl was truly a great man..wonderful husband, terrific father and grandfather, true friend, inspiring coach and teacher.
His life teaches us how to live ours. His integrity is a model to follow. I'm glad he touched my life.

Many fond memories watching Moon Valley Football. May your family keep the cherished memories of you close to their heart and smile when they remember. God Bless and thank you for giving back to the community. (Class of 1984)

Coach Putman had a major influence on my life. He is the reason I am a high school football coach today. It was his desire to mold young men through football that motivated me to want to make a difference in the lives of others. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. God Bless Coach Putman and his entire family

Coach, your legacy will live on for generations. Not only through the lives of your children and grand children, but through the lives of those you had such a strong impact. Thank you. May God comfort and strengthen your family. God Bless.
