Carl, you were such a good friend to me in Crime Prevention when I was just a Patrol Aide. Then you helped strengthen me for the running I needed to complete in the Norfolk Police Academy by allowing me to tag along with you on your afternoon runs. Thank you my friend. May you rest forever in the eternal arms of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

I am blessed to have had uncle Carl in my life. He was indeed, a good and honorable man. I will forever smile when I think of his contagious laugh! My heart and sympathies go to out to Aunt Janice, Chad, and even Whiskey; who will all miss him so very much. RIP, Carl, until we all meet again
