Not sure what to say?

I went to school in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Mr. Severson was my reading teacher/tutor. To this day I still remember his classes and the friends in them with me and the compassion that he had for us in his class. I know I was behind and needed help with reading and writing and tying shoes and buttons and a multitude of others things. But he held a night where he brought parents in to make some different things to help us learn and practice things at home away from school. If it wasn't for him...

I remember Earl, he loved his food, he was what you would call an avid consumer. He would work it off the next day. He always said the best meal he ever had was the one he just finished.
Earl Severson took the place of my Dad about 12 years ago and I loved him for it.
I have been told he was a terror behind the wheel. He would travel cross-country in a little Fiesta going over 90 miles an hour. When I was with him he would slam through the back roads of Stow like a teenager who...

I will alaways miss Papa. he was very good to me.I will love him forever.

My papa was a very good husband, horseshoer, bowler and grandfather. He always thought of others first.

Mr. Severson was one of those teachers that made an impression on a small child at Broad Street School in Cuyahoga Falls. I thank him for that. My condolences and prayers go out to his family.

Always hold onto the wonderful memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

We were saddened to hear of Earl's death. We met him around 1989 at horseshoe tournaments. He always had a conscietious and pleasant attitude in competition. We worked with him at the Mt. Hope Steam Engine shows and enjoyed that part of his life. We saw him at several tournaments in Ohio and also in world tournaments across the U.S.. We will miss seeing him give us smiles & looks of "I am trying!" from the courts while he was pitching-at times he was sweating profusely & uncomfortable...
