Not sure what to say?

Ole and family,
I am sorry to hear of Jack's passing. He was always a nice person and will be greatly missed.

Your Cousin, Bud Ward

Iola, I am so sorry for your loss. I heard through cousin Bud Ward. I knew your mom and dad, Lute and Louise and visited their home many times. I'm the g-daughter of Rebecca Anilee Ward. I'm so glad you have loving family to help you through this time.

I really appreciated my father-in-law Jack Turner. When my own father died in 1974 he let me adopt him as my second father. Mom and Dad Turner are two very special people. They taught unselfishness and care of family. I will really miss you Papa Jack. We (Annette and Earl and Jim and I) will take care of Mama Olie for you. Thanks for loving us.

Your daughter-in-law Margo

I have known Jack and Iola for 46 years. When I came to the U.S. they welcomed me with open arms. They were my mom and dad since my parents died when I was young and they have always been very good me. I will miss dad (Jack) and will miss all the card games we played with him and mom.

Love you. Your daughter-in-law Annette

I grew up at Darleen's Toyland in the 60's me and my late best friend Gary Balogh would spend hours talking to Jack and Iola. They were great people and mentors for us two teenagers we learned a lot from them.
I still have some of the models cars and HO Trains that we bought. My Deepest Sympathy to the family I will alway remember jack as a great person in my life.

I will always remember you. The love and friendship you shared. Also teaching me to stand on my own. Love you. Your son Jim

I worked for Earl & Ole at the hobby shop in the late 60's & early 70's. Earl was a great guy to work for. Connie and I send our condolences to the family.

As a wholesale salesman calling on Darlene's Toyland from the 60s to the 90s I was always happy to call on Jack and Iola and came to see them as friends. Very nice people and a pleasure to do business with. My sincerest condolences to Iola.

He was a good man and will be missed. Luther Ray Burroughs
