Not sure what to say?

It was my honor to be Gene's 1st scheduler at GT. He was a special "boss." He entertained me with many things he experienced. I was fortunate to know Carol also; a special, lovely, and funny lady. I could go on, but I'm running out of space. Fly forever, Gene.

It was a pleasure knowing Gene at GTE Michigan. Always felt safe when he was piloting, even in terrible storms. Sincere condolences. Roger Newell

I had the pleasure of working with Gene at GTE years ago. He was a wonderful man and boss. I've thought of him many times thru the years. My condolences to his family.

The poem fits to a t. A very gallant gentlemen has left us. It was an honor to work for Gene and get to know Carol and the girls. He shared so many of his flight tales. We all felt GTE Michigan had the top pilot. It was so cuz headquarters "stole" our guy and his plane! He always made us feel important. God bless you Lady Winingers. My thoughts and prayers are for you.
