Earl provided great guidance to a first year student and was so gracious with his time. When my parents would visit Earl would always go out for lunch with us. RIP Ole friend.

Earl and I grew up in the same neighborhood in Charlotte and spent a lot of time together over the years. I had no idea that he was living in Awendaw which is just down the road from Mt Pleasant, SC where my family and I have lived for almost 30 years. Wish we could have gotten together at some time. I'll always remember you Earl.
