Not sure what to say?

Dear Fran, and each of the family members of Mrs. Benson,
Your mom will be missed. I was sorry to read of her passing away recently.
The memory of Mrs. Benson includes my own late mother (Jean P. Roth) having kind regard for your mother. I recall Mrs. Benson as one good hostess for our Brownie/ Girl Scout troop on a cold winter day, and slso on a good summer day for pony riding.
It was a pleasure to read of her life, as published in the obituary. It seems that she,...

Everyone had Mrs. Benson for 7th grade English at Lansing Middle School while she taught there. Most were scared of her too! She was a good teacher, but stern and most remembered her for that. I had a chance to really get to know her personally over the last few years and she became less the teacher I remembered for being strict to the person I will remember for being thoughtful and giving with an amazing memory! So glad I had the opportunity to see her that way! My sincere condolences!

It was a great privilege to have had Earlene in my early life. We shared so much over all those years in 4-H and church choir, and just by being good neighbors and good friends. She and her family even came to SUCB in my Freshman year to get me out of the dorm for a day! That was huge back then. I surely never knew how much she had accomplished in life. She was a remarkable individual on so many levels. I miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with all of her family, especially Norman,...

I am saddened to learn that Mrs. Benson passed away. It was my honor and privilege to know her and have her for my seventh grade teacher in 1974. Because of her I am a better person today. She was a great teacher, a wonderful person, and respected scholar.

My sincere condolences to the Benson Family. Mrs. Benson was a wonderful teacher who was loved by all.

What a full and wonderful life she led. I taught for many years with her and every student was lucky to have passed through classes. The world,as well as family and friends, will miss her.

She left a great impression on all her students that she effected and she always knew all her students names even if she did see them for years. God Bless and RIP from a former student.

Loved her, great teacher. Wish I would have known early certainly would have attended her services. My sincerest condolences

Sorry to hear of her passing my sincere condolences to the family
