Early Thomas Donovan Jr. Early Thomas Donovan Jr., 50, of Palmyra, Virginia, died on Sunday, March 10, 2013. He was preceded in death by his father Early Thomas Donovan Sr. He is survived by his mother, Shelvie T. Donovan of Palmyra; wife, Laura Anne Donovan of Palmyra; three daughters, Jennifer Nicole Donovan of Troy, Lindsey Anne Donovan of Louisa and Valerie Taylor "Bunky" Donovan of Keswick; five granddaughters, Daja, Asia, Maya, Skyler, Chloe; and his dog, Fat Boy. Visitation will be at the Sheridan Funeral Home in Kents Store, Virginia, from 6 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2013. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Beulah Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Early was a guitarman who loved to make music.

I was absolutely shocked when I heard the news. I was always so glad to see Tom when he came into the clinic. He was excellent at his job and will be dearly missed around here. I am so sorry for your loss.

Tom was not only our Hill's rep for many years, but was also our friend. You are in our thoughts, and we pray that God will give you His peace and divine comfort during this sad and difficult time. We will miss him.

Tom was our Hills rep for many years. We will all miss him. He was such a friendly, kind person who always talked about his band, family, and dog(Fat Boy) when he came to visit us. His family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

One of the best friends anyone could have, Earlier years were all about my friendship with Skeeter, Laura and the girls,We had many many good times and memories. He will always be loved, missed and never forgotten. I am proud to be called his friend.

The world has lost a real rock star who has blessed this community with three beautiful girls and granddaughters. We send our love and prayers to the family during this time.

It has been many many years, but I am so very sorry to hear the news of Tom's passing. May you find peace and comfort amoung the memories the lifetime he shared.

Words seem almost impossible to find. Laura, Jennifer, Lindsey and Valerie, please know how truly sorry I am for your loss. I can not even begin to imagine to enormity of pain you are experiencing. Skeeter certainly impacted my life in ways he most likely never even knew. He was truly an amazingly gifted artist that God truly blessed with incredible talent.
